We all moan about the weather in this country but don't days like today make up for it?

In to work this morning roof down, heater on, barely a cloud in the sky, sun shining, reflecting off the sea, eeeh makes you glad to be alive. And best of all it's FRIDAY!!!!!

It is indeed friday (FFFT!)

The roads were just slightly sprayed with a thin flim of mud, just perfect for adusting lines and having a laff between packs of numpties. There was also a light fog, not enough to marr visibity, but plenty enough to boost engine response.

You know those days when the car seems so smooth, you know somethings about to break? It was like that...

... nothing broke though :thouchwood:

Fantastic, shame I was driving to work though

20 miles in the p**sing rain, on a scooter, to a 2 hour Health & Safety meeting. Taking my assistant to the pub at lunchtime as she flies to Australia tomorrow for 4 weeks.

I look forward to a better Saturday!!

Oh, the joys of working from home...

Mungo, maybe there's a thread for you - what do people who work from home wear to work??!

It's Friday, it's my birthday, I'm off to the pub in a minute, and my workmates bought me the 2003 Kylie calendar. Don't get much better than that!

Its grey and gloomy here in the middle of London, but tomorrow I get to drive to the coast. My younger daughter wants me to be her photographer's assistant for the day. Any excuse to go for a drive.

Grey, gloomy raining here in Newcastle upon Tyne, (getting to sound like 2way Family Favourites, how old does that make me?)
Forcast for the weekend cloudy, showers & Christmas shopping.
Mungo, you don't want to go back to Cornwall, why? (apart from the Southampton Totty Trail of which I know nowt about). Was there in Sept and fancy moving there for the better/warmer(anyway) weather. Am I wrong in that assumption?
