Hooray!!! Got the ferry booked for me and 5 mates, P&O Dover/Calais, Thurs, 7.55am (anyone else on this one???)

Just got to sort out the camping tickets now, managed to get 1 Houx Annexe so far, just need to find another 2 by June!!!

Just to check a couple of things, each camping ticket is for 1 car and 1 pitch allocation, so I would need 3 altogether for 6 people/3 cars, yes? The camping tickets are transferrable? i.e. no names on them or anything like that that would make a purchase problematic?

Thanks for the help guys - SEE YOU IN A FEW MONTHS!!!

Not yet been but as I understand it, once in Annexe is a bit of a free for all. Tckts are simply per vehicle so if you could fit 7 people even if they had individual tents into one MPV then that would be ok on just the one tckt. As you are taking 3 cars however then yes 3 tckts needed; if you get really stuck and can squeeze more people into one car temporarily at the end then I guess you could park one of your cars in Parking Blue (or similar?) and then just get in on 2 entry tickets.

Other thing is that I moved from a Speedferries sailing at 11am to the 7am as heard that it can begin to get tight on space by the Thursday afternoon, not sure how bad it gets and you are on an earlyish sailing anyway so should be alright, but I guess there is still a chance that you might not find a space big enough for you all to pitch together.

Can't wait

Yeah the 7.55am crossing was a bit of a compromise, as early as we can on Thursday so we get down there asap, but a Wednesday night wasn't an option as it's a good 6 hour drive from where we are and taking Wednesday off work couldn't happen.

We've got friends staying at HA who are going down on Wednesday afternoon so hopefully they'll be able to save us some spots.
