Terminal suggests i have the Power i claim, but please tell me what tyres that calculator uses for grip off the line in a monster Power RWD car. Interesting though.

Not far off, I did a 14.1 but I missed a gear change. Did manage 72mph in 5.6 seconds though. With slicks and a better driver i'm sure it could achieve a low 13. Not bad for a rusty old mini.

0-60 is not far off what I've seen elsewhere, and jibes with what I've been able to achieve (given a suitably quiet bit of road).

I'll never, ever do a 402.336 metres (in this car; what would be the point? It's a sufficiently-powerful family hatchback), so that's a bit irrelevant to me.

a bit slower than the average test figures i have seen but not far off.
evo states 0-60: 7.6 and 0-100: 22s

KB - if thats either a 106gti or Saxo VTS, then check the fwd lists on the site, 130bhp versions have now been listed becuase on Rolling Roads these have acheived 130bhp standard, which is far more into the 7's for 0-60, and low 15secs.

Once rolling I believe that the car could live up to these figures, the problem is suppressing all mechanical sympathy and doing a brutal launch. Seems unfair on the transmission given four wheel drive and a heavy old porker.

Thats what I mean Batty, a little optimistic. The old gal might make a 13sec 1/4 mile, but 0-60 is more in the hi 5's range.
