Finally picked up my new Sagaris yesterday. Probably the last car from T.M.S. Feels so much more "together" than my Cerb or T350 ever did, can't wait to find the time to get it run in!!!!!!
Picked it up from Paul and the Guys at Prestige Performance Cars, at the old T.M.S site, beautifully prepared and pdi'd as always. Hope to be back there SOON for the 1000 mile service, wouldn't let anyone else service my cars, many thanks Paul and good luck.

Glad you like her. I've had mine since May 2005 - best TVR I've ever had. Like you, I wanted to put the first 1k miles on there quickly, so atended meets all over the place. Just about to hit 6k and she runs like a dream. You won't be disappointed! Enjoy ...

Many thanks everyone, will try to post some pics as soon as poss, it's Spectraflair silver with black and red full hide interior, Close ratio box, xenons, air-con and paintshield. My photo skills are a bit pants, and the car is grubby now, will try to get sorted near the weekend.

Woohoo! Another Sagaris on our streets!

I'm approaching 2,000 miles in mine already, and I'm loving every one of them. Like you, I think it knocks the socks off all of the Tuscans, Tamoras, Cerberas and Chimaeras that I've ever owned or driven. (Edited to add that I do still love 'em all, though.)

Congratulations and have fun.

Mine is in for 6k service atm.

As for grubby...that is when you *should* take your photos in my humble. Dirty 'Gris = used 'Gris and those are the best sort. The car benefits from running every day and if nothing else it flushes out all the bugs in the system during the first few weeks & months. It also teaches you all the peculiarities of your car.

Dirty 'Gris = Dirty 'Gris

Using your car every day does not teach you all the peculiarities unless you drive it like an absolute Tw@t on the road. Sorry to disagree, but all IMHO of course

I think there is a difference here between peculiarities and potential.

If you drive it daily then you will find out a lot quicker the kind of peculiarities that relate to your own car.

Things like just how much of a blip on the 'go' pedal you need to give her to help her fire first time

The fact that more attention is needed to the throttle as the revs drop when stone cold

The exact point in time when you can feel the car has warmed up and is ready for some action without even looking at the display....all that sort of thing.

You can drive quite safely to discover the character of your car.

However, to discover the true 'potential' of the car.......well that's a different matter.

Were you not taking your happy pills yesterday John? You seem to have caught a touch of the unrepentantituses.

(Except you're apologising afterwards).

To cheer yourself up pop over to the TVRCC forums and add your comments to the John Tipler thread re: Midas Halcyon Custard

I had a bad day Friday.
Some of my remarks were a little out of character.

It’s often easier to say you’re wrong (and I am sometimes) on PH and apologise rather than face a barrage of abuse from a pack of uniformed opinionated folk that seem to feel they should express an opinion just because they can.

But what the hell, it’s an open and public forum, so why shouldn’t they put forward their two penneth…. just because it may put potential owners off or devalue some one else’s P&J or worse even further distort public opinion on TVR reliability, it matters not to some.

And today……… I’m having a good day.

Oh, before I forget - sidecar pilot (Andrew) enjoy your new car and I hope you get as much fun from TVR ownership as I do.

edited to add. Custard thread reviewed

Indeed, I'm almost over my little birthday celebration of 14 days ago - as is MrsS. I think I'm around for the North Yorks TVRCC meeting in February so thats a possibility for a swift maybe.
