IS PORSCHE THE ONLY WARRANTY TO HAVE??
Discussion
LOOKING FOR OPINIONS HERE.. WHEN I BOUGHT MY 996 LAST YEAR I ALSO BOUGHT A WARRANTY FROM THE INDEPENDANT GARAGE. ITS A MOTORCARE WARRANTY, CALLED CORPORATE SOLUTIONS , AND I WAS TOLD AT THE TIME THAT THIS WAS THE COMPANY PORSCHE USED UNTIL THEY STARTED THEIR OWN PRODUCT SOME TIME AGO. THE CAR IS NOW DUE ITS SERVICE NEXT MONTH , AND I'VE BOOKED IT INTO AN O.P.C. SHOULD I SPEND THE EXTRA £400 ON A PORSCHE WARRANTY? HAS ANY ONE HAD DEALINGS WITH MOTORCARE?
No ideas on the Motorcare warranty, but please can you look to the left handside of your keyboard and press abutton called [Caps Lock]. There's blood all over my shoulders
Have a look at what it covers, whether the failed part needs to be total stripped before they inspect (can cost you hundreds that are not recoverable) and whether there are any other clauses that could be used as a get out.
The Porsche one is cast iron.

I'm not sure you can go back to the Porsche warranty once it's been covered elsewhere.
Yes you can, I did it. Not through choice but I did it. As long as you pass an 111 point check and the car is less than 9 years old you can have a Porsche warranty.
Is it the only one to go for? in a word YES!
I was hoping you lot wouldn't come up with those comments! Especially at this hour of the morning! (works a 4 lettered word).Appologies y'all for the caps lock .. hadn't noticed .. but my my aren't you fussy!! I would appreciate any other comments any of you might have ,especially if you've used this warranty company before.
