What was that?

As well as the Zonda I spotted something else on my travels this morning when a huge car pulled up behind me in a traffic jam.

It looked like a Jag, had the retro style Jag shaped grill (like the one on the Mondeo style Jag) and the headlights I assume were original but looked like S class Merc. But it didn't have a cat on the bonnet, it had a circular badge. White centre and blue circle with some writing. The badge on the back gave a name starting with S.

So what the hecketty-heck was it?

If it had a mesh grill it was probably a new S-type R (which I am trying to talk the wife into trading up for, so I can borrow it every now and again )

Now that suprises me that the US still allows the leaping jag, what with all its saftey spec for cars etc.

Apparently pedestrians getting hung up on "bonnet ornaments" (called hood ornaments in the States) is not a big problem over here. Besides, without "hood ornaments", what would the "rappers" wear around thier necks?

Edited to add: We get the "flying lady" on the Rolls Royce as well, but I believe Bently no longer do the "winged B" in favour of the "flat emblem"
