Lookingat his official (ish) website Theo "Tiger" Walcott is going to Arsenal

www.theo-walcott.com/

Particularly like the fact his website has lots of links to the Arsenal Credit Card on it already!

If he has got any sense he will, it has to be a better move than going to warm a bench at Chelsea for the next 5 years.

So do i,its getting like teenage prostitution, ive not got anything against transfers with mature adults who can have some sort of say in their future (although i think there should be a cap introduced somehow to give other clubs a chance),but all this stuff when they see a promising young talent and then a huge price is put on the kids head doesnt seem right to me,its a hell of a responsibility for a teenager to live up to that price.

probably. And what a huge loss it will be. Wave a tenner in front of Lowe and you could hypnotise him into selling anyone in the squad.

Looks likely he'll go to Arsenal from Southampton.

He looks good, he'll probably end up at a big club after Arsenal.

Jermaine Pennant was Jermaine Pennant's problem and David Bentley is out on loan at Blackburn and provided he does good then at some point I would have thought Mr. Wenger will bring him back.

He's 16, and models his style of play on Thierry Henry. Unless Henry leaves to go to a bigger club he'll not get a game for three to four years, in which time pretty much anything could happen, and £12,500,000 is a feck of a lot of money for an unproven youngster. Good Luck

I think that he will get his chance earlier than you think. Arsenal have van Persie and Bergkamp as backup for Henry but Bergkamp doesn't do away matches, van Persie is injured more than he plays so I would think he has a good chance of playing sometime this season.

What like one who struggled to beat Burton Albion and Exeter in the FA cup last two seasons? Like one that hasn't finished in the top two for 2 years? Or the one that isn't in the champions league this year?

People in glass houses....

remember United are too much in debt to afford him. After all they bought that quality left back for 7m who played so well at Man City last week...
