Last year, my girlfriend and I were talking about her sister, Fay. Fay is pregnant, and we were discussing her baby. So our conversation evolved, about her pregnancy, pregnancy in general, how we had puppies as kids (not not us, our dogs) and how mother dogs ate the afterbirth

Ponderously, I said "Imagine if humans ate the Afterbirth" and a few comments later, I said "Imagine if Fay ate her Afterbirth"

Anyway... Fast forward a few weeks, and we are at a party. Fay was also there. We'd all had a few drinks, and were talking about the pregnancy. And what does my girlfriend blurt out, at the most unsuitable moment, but "What did you say the other day Rob... Imagine if Fay ate her afterbirth"

There was no explanation as to why I'd said it, and to make matters worse, I remembered saying it, but couldnt for the life of me remember why I'd said it, or what conversation led up to me saying it!!

Cue the biggest silence, since before the big bang itself, and me just sitting there, returning everyone's looks with a totally blank and utterly guilty look, not sure what to say next because I couldnt even remember why id said it

I died a thousand deaths, I tell you! Its funny looking back though Come on then people, some stories

We were parking up in a multi story car park in Tunbridge Wells last Saturday and my youngest daughter (5) sees some graffiti on the wall. Including the "f" word.

At the top of her voice, in front of everyone else in the car park (we were queuing for a ticket at the time), she pipes up. "I know that word. That's the "F" word, spelt F U K FK"

the placenta is full of nutrients and is really good for you. Several cultures eat it!

But ask in your local emporium of Turkish pitta-encased convenience foods...

A chef acquaintance of mine made a spicy pate out of it when his girlfriend gave birth.

They were both lovely people but what I would describe as "very earthy".

Pretty sure Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall did one on TV and got fairly heavily criticised for it.

The very thought of it makes me want to

Hugh Fearnley Whatsit went and reported on a dinner party where they were serving up the placenta as a celebration of the childs birth. Call me old fashioned, I'll stick to a skinful of Stella, and a couple of King Edwards.

on new years day we had a few people left over from the new years eve party at our house. as the evening was drawing on my mother decided to try and get enough rooms sorted so that everone had somewhere to sleep. my sister had a male friend present who she had been interested in for quite a while, but they had only got together for the first time the evening before.
so to work out how many rooms to prepare my mother says to this bloke:
"mitch, are you sleeping with my daughter tonight?"
the room went so quiet at that point and all he could do was pretend that he had spontaneously fallen asleep!

They may wind the fucckers around cherry flavoured lolly pop sticks, dip them in sherbert and follow them up with chasers, but I wont try one however many nutrients its got.
