yes, the traces of colour lef in the top left quarter make it look a bit hastily done

firstly:
if you resize the pic to 750 pixels wide before you upload it tehn the PH server wont have to compress it awkwardly. (its not a criticism of this pic but it is better in the uncompressed state).

i like the pic and i think that it is quite emotive, but i think it could be even more so if the light was better. the same picture taken with a low sun would (in my opnion) be much better.

oh, i hadnt noticed that it had been photoshopped to remove sky colour. in that case i think that the colour on the car isnt quite as great as it could be. what camera and settings is it?

Could be a bit more vibrant though... here's what I'd do:

Contrast +30
Apply a bit of artificial vignette (that's a taste thing I think, I love it but many will hate it)
select just the sky, feather, and then autolevels



edit to add:

and resize to 750px so the forum auto-resizer doesn't have it's wicked way with it!
