Fiat Funbags
Airbags in the roof
Discussion
Do you think they will ofer different sizes of air bag to sute differently built people?
Or will it be one size fits all?
The next thing will be a pair of overalls you put on and plug it into the cars censors and in the event of a crash you will turn into the michelin man so when the firemen get you out of the car, they willjust let the air out

What a gass

Mel you forget that the air force have suits that pump air into the trousers to force blood back to the brain on high G manoeuvres to stop the pilots blacking out. Not a huge jump to produce bike versions
I remember seeing the jacket that inflates on '2Wheels' the bike program on Men & Motors, uses a gas canister that can be replaced when expended.

What was the movie with the instant expanding foam accident cushion...? At the moment of impact the entire car filled with rapid setting polystyrene and cocooned the occupants. Just had to break out of the styrofoam and you're OK.
All this rubbish about airbags is nuts. What manufacturers really should do is put big spikes on the end of the steering column, fir x-ply tyres and unassisted drum brakes all round. See how many A4's you get tailgating your a$$ on the M-Way then

Edited by mel on Tuesday 14th August 17:27 You dont need a compressor, the jacket used a small canister of compressed air which was attached to the jacket not the bike, The canister is only about 2-3inces long the same type they use in soda syphons. As for where do you put thing on a bike, I have seen bikes with N2O
