Does the Mk1 Gt3 have mounting points already installed from the factory or do you have to go drilling holes??!! What cages do you use?? I'm thinking of a full cage....

Check out

www.carnewal-europe.com/main.htm

Click on 'upgrades' and 'Clubsport package' it seems to indicate that the safety roll bar (which is available independently) comes with installation instructions and bolds into existing holes I dont know if the full cage requires new holes but I would imagine so. I haven't tried it, but am considering the roll bar so I can mount a camera and harnesses.

Hope this helps

Sam

Alternatively you can get this :

Dunno if it's wise to be harnessed in with no cage.

Hi Dan, can you elaborate. If not I've always got my CG lock!

Just if you roll it and the roof collapses and you can't move. Unlikely I know.

I think you will find that the full cage requires plates to be welded in the front footwells. The rear cage bolts into existing mounting points.
