I would like to fit a fan overide switch (for Emergencys) using this spare position on the stalk.

I havn't looked at the wiring internals at the stalk yet so dont know if it is possible, and was wondering if anyone has tried this before( Mr Beer prehaps?? )

Most of the cars have the saloon version without this option. Possible yours is a one off where it has been replaced by someone who didn't relaise it.

The contacts supply at volts and are not independent IIRC.
Lot easier to add a switch to cowling or under the dash.

Um, never noticed it but mine has that as well. Personally do not need an over ride but certainly could be interesting. I will take a look how easy it would be. I wonder how many others have it?

Hang on, i think iam going a bit doolalee. The left hand is dip and main with indicators. Is it the RH stalk you are speaking of?

Yeah sorry i did mean the Right one as u are sitting in the car.I was looking from the Bonnet
