In 10 yesrs of driving cars with alloys i've never dinged dinged one, in the last three months I've driven into kerbs 3 times, so 2 of my wheels look like they've been on my wifes car (this is not sexist BTW merely an observation about wifes driving, which at the mo is better than mine).

So i want them refurbishing. Im getting quoted about £40 (+vat) per corner to remove scuffs (the lacquer is scuffed off, id say the wheel wasnt damaged just the finish)

Does this sound reasonable? Are there any questions I should ask to gauge the likely quality of work? Are they mobile operators any good or do you need a workshop to do the job properly?

This is cheap.

I'd ask to see examples of their work/get references.

Thats cheap, BMW garages are "normally" about £50 ish per corner for mild damage, I've been quoted £75+VAT by Wicked Wheels
