Hi
I have just bought a Jago Geep and would be interested in any help you guys could give me on its history if you know the vehicle. It had a Jago owners sticker in the window.
I had always wanted a world warII jeep but building a house and having a small person put a stop to that. Then I found out about Geeps. Problem solved...
I bought this Geep sight unseen off ebay form a guy outside Cardiff.
The Reg. is Q97RCA and it was red (now in the process of going green with full US Army markings. It has the older willys round arches so I think this will look OK.)
It has MOTs going back to 1987 and they say it was built in 1984. The early MOTs are from the Blackpool area.
The vehicle is now in Northern Ireland. Are there any more out there?
Last of all for now I would like to thank textr7monkey for putting me on to this site.
Many thanks Mike I got the manual today.
Cheers
Karl

norning battrooper.....good read about you getting a Jago! I think there is another owner in N. Ireland named 'whackman' He (PAT) has a very tasty blue Jeep....there's a pic of it somewhere around, I'll try and find it for you.
May I suggest taking a look at;
http://jagoownersclub.proboards56.com/index.cgi
there you'll find the Jago Owners Club Web Site. You can decide if you want to join the JOC and post every where on there, or just introduce yourself on the 'newbie' section...think I've got that right ! Whatever...welcome to the wonderful mad world of Jago land
