Stealth plates look normal BUT will not be readable on photographs. ie speed cameras etc.

In that case, yes, I've got em, camera shy plates(not the crap ones reviewed on speedtrap bible). And yes, they work.

According to a friend who is a very highly paid consultant to the Home Office and works on speed camera systems (swine!), none of these things work. About the best you can hope for is that the automated system will not be able to read the lettering and the picture will be passed to a human being who will not be bothered to tinker with the picture in order to pick out the lettering.

They're also 'obvious' to the naked eye and will if you get caught result in a large fine, several times greater that that for a speeding ticket...

My plate looks completely standard & having tried to take flash photos of it from varying angles & distances it is impossible to get a picture. I only use it for car shows obviously though.

Whatever happened to the slave flash system that detected the camera's flash and fired one back at it, hence blinding it?
