Mosaic Glass Tiles

How-do

We're after getting some sheets of glass mosaic tiles for our kitchen. Does anyone know where we can get them cheap? is importing them a good deal/idea?

Any advice or ideas much appreciated!

Not cheap-
Fired Earth, There may be a shop near you, some very pretty stuff though.

The best bet is to check out a local specialist supplier, There are some around.

An alternative, for the more artistic diy types, is to buy a sheet of richly coloured glass and cut your own. If you go this route take a look at Spectrum Glass website- www.spectrumglass.com/ - The glass has a nice shinny finish and it cuts easily. You can get it in the UK for circa five quid a square foot.
