Well, for those v-maxes and trans continental trips. At what tread depth would you change your tyres? Taking in to account wet conditions of course.

It depends, if they're on a set of wheels used infrequently for an airfield day, I'll replace them at the legal limit.
If I expect to use them on the road in the wet, at about 2.5mm.
