Rear Badge?

Has anyone fitted a TVR badge to the rear of their Cerb? I have aquired a new bonet badge but as they are bolt on, I don't fancy drilling holes in the body work. Better maybe to cut the posts off and use double sided tape?

Ow i was just thinking like erm-- 5 mins ago looking out the window at work at the back of my Cerb--- it needs a TVR badge!---i wondered....but i want EVERYONE behind me to know what car it is....i also thought well by the sound of it--they WILL know what it is and can only be


but yeah i am interested in a rear badge....anyone done?

when i bought mine it allready had a rear tvr badge on it,its looks as if it has allways been there,as it is a one owner car

Know its a bit OT but my car has a "Christopher Neil" badge on the back which I'm not too keen of. (Don't like advertising and everyone keeps calling me Chris) does anyone know how these are fixed on as I would like to remove it.

AFAIKR...TVR have the 'logo' Trade Marked, I suspect you might be able to get 1 from a breakers perhaps. I do know (having done it) that when you replace the front badge with a nice one from Leven, you have to send in your old one, so they can re-use it.

O and when you come to replace the 'Cerbera Badge', be warned, you have to cut the carpet on the boot wall to fit it!

Sorry Gareth, Couldn't resist it! I used to have Gordon Lamb written on the back of one of my old cars so I kept getting called Gordon.

Have you tried pulling it off? If its just glued on, and if you can pull it off without removing paint, you might be able to use some solvent (sticky stuff remover) to dissolve the glue. If its on small posts you might be looking at some body repairs, unless you put another badge it its place

Cheers Rich - I'll give a go, thought I might use a heat gun to warm it up first and see if it slides off. I just dont want to end up with some horrible mark on the back.
