Rumours have stated on a 6 litre DOHC engine, possibly supercharged as a new Corvette project, check out the link below for the thread

A blown option is very logical, not so sure about a whole new cammer engine though.

Agree totally - it world be the wrong way to go - whole idea SBC's and LS is that they are imherently fairly (modern) low tech and run for every in truck, F-bodys and GaZillion other GM cars - 4cammer would add massively to servicing and can see that going to be popular for 99% of their applications and will be too wide for a many applications - Blower IS the Way - Blue Devil Z06 Ring car the way to go.

I think you'll find that the 'Blue Devil Ring Car' was actually a stock Z06 driven by Jan Magnussen, someone got their wires crossed and reckoned it was supercharged. There was a Dutch article about it, shown with photos of the car getting some air.

I too have heard that the whole blue devil thing was a bit of a scam

Sorry - ya I knowit was std - but imagine it with a blown 7ltr would be simialr performace to real LMGT1 cars - NICE!
