does any one enter photo comps?

[poah]

I'm going to enter a few for the first time this year as I've got a large catalogue of shots now. anyone else enter them. if so how have you done

[_dobbo_]

what sort of competitions are you talking about? personally I try to enter the PH one, but tend to leave it at that, not sure anything i take is good enough for proper comps with real prizes!

I don't really enter any photography competitions besides the ones here on PH as most times the "prize" is a camera or such not as good as what I used to take the photo, and/or I grant all rights to the company running the contest, and regardless of its success I get little more than my name in fine print at the right edge of the photo.
