Had a respray to a decent shade of blue by the looks of things. Thank god you got rid of that horrible green.

Cameras just can't get it right...this is the closest I've got...

I'm sure you are correct. A digital camera cannot capture the color of your car . The color "gamut" of RGB - CCD, (red, green, blue,-charged couple devise), digital cameras cannot capture all the colors that are in the visible spectrum. As a matter of fact, just glancing at a graphic representation of the two color spaces, the color furthest outside the limits of RGB camera space appears to be the color of your car! Plus the printing devices available and the computer monitors we are all viewing your images on can not display the color of your car either. 

Now that doesn't mean you don't take the best pictures of your Noble of anybody on this and the US forum. In my professional and not so humble opinion, you do. So don't stop shooting but don't kill your self trying to capture the color. It is a physical impossibility.
