I'm with the Prawns also. I have booked on the 7am Wednesday crossing from Dover-Boulogne with them. I went on this boat last year in a Noble. The front end scrapped getting on/off the ramps, but that's because the car is stupid long and low. We had Cerbera's with us that had no issues. We also have the same guys in their TVR's on the same boat this year. If you have not booked your crossing yet and want the same boat, give them a call.

One of our crew called SpeedFerries to warn them about our crossing last year and they said they were well prepared for lower cars now.

You may remember the 355 in their documentary coming off a ramp and bashing its nose, that's what caused their rethink!

The TL guys have organised a large group of 30-40 cars on the 7.00am Wednesday boat from Dover-Boulogne. If you have not yet booked, Give them a call and see if you can join in. It will be a decent convoy. They have crossing for £85. I bought mine a bit earlier and got it for £75. Good deal I thought with no hassle.

I went by tunnel, the staff were putting all the low stuff on the bottom deck so avoiding the ramps, you just drive on flat. I didn't ground mine at all and it seems to hit pretty much anything bigger than gravel.

I'm on the 7am Wednesday morning ferry too!

Didn't think it was going to be that busy (Lemans wise) but from the sounds of it it is!
