Yes the NOBLE M400 white honda
did 2.02 at MONZA circuit in road configuration.

To compare with other times.....
Ferrari 360 are not able to go down to 2.10
Best Porsche GT3 is around 2.08
and MASERATI GT CUP in race configuration is aroun 2.02.

Were we all on the same tyres?
The GT3 RSRs lap about 1.51s. Thats obviously a full on race car though.

Not really what I was asking! Were the other cars 360 & GT3 on Corsas too? If they were on their road tyres, it somewhat undermines the achievement, although it is still very impressive.
Sorry to pour fuel on the fire here but the facts are as follows:
GT3 270bhp per ton, comes on normal road tyres in unknown configuration
360 290bhp per ton, comes on normal road tyres in unknown configuration
M400 400bhp per ton, comes on semi slick tyres and was modifed specifically for the circuit
And you are getting excited that the M400 can beat the other 2 round a circuit? it has 48% and 38% higher power to weight repectively with better tyres and beats the lap times by 5% and 6.5% repectively. You'd expect it to walk all over the others given the figures?

360 is ridiculos.
GT3 are modified for track, semi slik tyres, suspensions, exc....
cost £££ more than a NOBLE and are slower.
That's enough for me.
It's not my problem if FERRARI and PORSCHE do heavy car to be used in front a fashion BARS!:-)
PS: when i can see a FERRARI or PORSCHE do a better time of a NOBLE i will think about them. Today both are not at the same NOBLE level!

GT3 RSR - 1:51, 404bhp per litre but on slicks, even allowing 5 seconds per lap for slicks a 911 with the same power to weight as the Noble is 6 seconds faster round Monza, shame an RSR would look silly outside the bars
The M400 is a fantastic car but you should remove your blinkers as there are many other fantastic cars out there to try, many of which are just as fast, if not faster (though the Noble is definately near the top of the drive it to the track lot). The Noble is not about just speed, it is about a great chassis that is fun to drive whilst also being quicker than most things. By concentrating only on lap times you missing the point of the car IMO, and also opening yourself up to comparisions with faster track cars which inevitably seem to upset you. Go out, enjoy your Noble, if all that is important to you is being faster that a porsche then enter le mans with it but don't be upset if the GT3s beat you....

this is not road legal!
PS: lap time is not an opinion!
PS2: my other choice is a MOSLER MT900, not for sure a sport car (Ferrari and Porsche) produced in large serie than is not so sporty at the end.

A Radical SR8 is road legal and can lap the Nurburgring in 6'55, the M400 would be a 40 odd seconds per lap behind at least (who knows exactly how much as they've been there with the car but haven't released times). If lap times are all you are worried about then get one, they cost roughly the same as an M400

I have radical too, so i know that is the best car onthe track.
ULTIMA is nice car but not nice as RADICAL or NOBLE, even slower than a NOBLE in the circuit and less practical. More practical than a RADICAL even if i used my SR3 for an holiday for 20 days in France and Italy.
ULTIMA doesn't worth for the money, performance and usability.

Well you can't please all of the people...........
Surely this is all missing the point. Ferrari and Porsche have had 50 plus years of road and race car development to finely tune their product with 10's of millions spent on R&D, F1 teams, Le Mans teams etc etc.
The fact that a mildly tuned Noble M400 beats their product around a track is surely a good thing, and one that we should all congratulate them on.
So congratulations, irrespective of what tyres you had, lunch you had......................
