Rebuild help required!

First hurdle then.... totally forgotten which way the feed, return and the two copper pipes fit into the rack - can anyone describe please? I'm happy with one of the copper pipes, but not the longer one.
Also, after refitting and replumbing the fuel tank, I've got an earth strap, approx 10" long, left over in the boot. I'm not sure whether I put it there by accident or whether it actually came from behind the tank. I've earthed all the wiring onto the chassis bolt, but cannot see where this strap should go! Any help much appreciated!
