Hey guys,

These are the pictures I took from the Noble owners day held here in South Africa yesterday. Enjoy!

Here is the demo car going around the track at Wesbank Raceway.

We then depart to the next destination. Gerotek testing grounds. Was quite a site to see on the high way!

Came across a Lamborghini Gallardo on the highway on the way there. Would have been an interesting race We also drove past an F40 on the way there as well.

We arrive at the next destination!

Thats all the pictures I have, the rest of the group went to 2 more destinations after this one. I had to leave early as something came up at home Anyways, hoped you enjoyed the photos.

Nice pics.
What are the rules about numberplates in SA?
Most of the cars don't seem to be carrying any.

Great pics Mike - where abouts in SA did you all meet up? Seem to recall from a quick visit there a couple of years ago that it's a rather large place!

You need to at least have a numberplate on the back. These cars are so rarely out that I think most of the owners don't think it's necessary to put them on in the first place. I'm sure they have them stored somewhere at the house

We all met up at Wesbank Raceway near Johannesburg in the morning. We drove from destination to destination from then on.

Great pics.

Just shows how much a front number plate like we have to put up with in the UK ruins the shape.

Mine keeps on being "knocked off" on trackdays and I can never seem to get new brackets quickly....

most people are under that impression about exotics over here elisek! here is a photo of another exotic car track day meet held in last year november.

I would be so disappointed if we had to to front plates on the car as well joust. it really does look out of place and ruins the look of the car.

That's probably the CLK DTM modified by a guy locally (forget his name ) who has had it fitted with a hand control system he developed. The system can also be purchased for other cars IIRC. He is disabled and is the owner of a large electronics chain or supplier or distributor in South Africa. As soon as I remember his name I'll try and find more info for you.

Ciao

Correct, it's the CLK DTM, one of 3 in the country. What Zaktoo said, is also correct, the owner's name starts with a V, I can't remember his name though lol. Here are more pictures of it.
