Is it something to do with all TVR's or do I have a specially jinxed one?

I have had no accidents in over 10 years of driving. None whatsoever. I bought my Cerb in October and have had it hit three times now

No1, My car was stationary, wife was sitting in the passenger seat. Woman in red Mk3 escort pulled out of parking space alongside, turned too sharp and scraped rear wing. Luckily, scrape T Cut out.

No2, My car was stationary, we were in pub looking out of window eating lunch. Woman pulled in to parking space next to mine, allowed her door to swing open and whack into my door. Small mark which T Cut out.

No3, My car was stationary, had just slowed down and stopped as lorry infront was turning right. God almighty crump and got shunted forwards. Pulled into side expecting to see splintered GRP everywhere, but no, no damage other than small line of his silver paint on rear end. It'll probably T Cut out.

Now as I look at it, should I sell this car now before some1 does a proper job on it and writes it off or shall I keep it knowing that T Cut will be my best friend. I'm also scared that next time I might not be around to witness such carnage.

I'd also like to note that i'm the best person in the world to run into. I dare say that anyone else in these situations would have been screaming at the top of their voice, but I was a picture of calmness. Just give me your details and i'll be in touch.

And i'm full of cold

No accidents at all here - just a Volvo driver that reversed up the bonnet of the griff, his rear wheels actaully left the road.
Scratches polished out, eventually. Would've been a different story if he had a tow bar...

Sorry to hear about your cold mate. Hope it clears in time for work tomorrow

Have you ever considered buying shares in T-cut .

They say things come in threes... may be the end of it now.

Yeah, well don't start. Had my S3c a week... popped into Halfords to get some Rain-X... even parked WELL AWAY from the store... and what happens... some dick in a Merc opens his door onto the car.

I even saw him do it! Got his details... got him to sign something admitting that he did it and that he'd pay for it... asked for proof of his name (didn't have his driving licence) so he gave me a credit card... so I jotted down his number too!

You should have popped back into Halfords and made a few more purchases with you newly acquired credit card number

If you want the cash instead Podie, I take credit cards via my business and could forward you a cheque...

Should be OK... he KNOWS that I've got his credit card number... which is an added bonus in making sure he pays for it. I think for my inconvienience he can pay to have the stone chip done too..

Cheers Yellow peril.

Cold's getting beter, head no longer throbs but cough is irritating and still blowing two tons of snot out.

Got my quote back from Hexham today - £283.

Just the right amount of money for him to settle cash without involving pesky insurance claims.

Mines a stone magnet! Chips with everything.
Park away from everyone else when I can but you're always gonna get the t*t who parks next to you with the wayward door. I usually end up wit a big Transit type van parked 2 inches away from me wherever I park. Even with hundreds of free spaces elswhere.
At the last place I worked, watched a guy in a new Rover 800 open his rear door onto the door of one of the partners Mercs in the car parking spaces in front of the building. No sense of guilt on his face whatsoever. So its not always the tosser in the £300 banger.
Byff, check the rear of your car closely, there may be stress fractures in the glass which won't show up 'til later
