Just got myself a 1992 944 s2. It is fitted with a porsche immobiliser (via a electronic key) and a 10 year old cobra alarm/immobiliser. Its a real pain having to dis-arm both systems, espcially the porsche key in the dark. I would like to remove both systems and go with a new alarm. Can anyone point to any tech help for removing the porsche system ?
Thanks
Thanks
Hi - Welcome to PH
Not sure where you're based, but you could try Jon Mitchell in Bournemouth www.9xx.co.uk He fits new alarm systems as well as being very knowledgeable about all things 944.

I want the system correctly disabled and removed. Some bloke who just fit's new alarms of just one make and has no knowledge of porsche systems is to be avioded !
If I could get the diagram of the net I would do the job myself.

Not trying to steel PH's thunder but an excellent site for info on all 944 issues and info is on pelican parts USA forum.
