N rated tyres

Can I have N2's on the front axle and N1's on the rear of my 996?
The contisports on the rear are pretty new but the front boots need to be changed and I've been told continental have stopped doing an N1 tyre ... Does this mean I've got to change all 4?

If you are sticking to the same tyre, apart from a 1 step N rating, you should be fine. Handling characteristics will almost certainly change, but only slightly usually. There, have I covered my ar$e sufficiently ?

From personal experience with Asimmetricos, you can tune the handling a bit doing this. Otherwise, you end up with a big pile of useless tyres in the garage, waiting for you to eBay ...

I had the same issue.

Event Mobile Tyres got me a pair of N1s which apparently are now being produced again.

I paid £250 a pair which I though was blimming good value and that was fitted and balanced at home. Good service and took care of the alloys.
