Why can't they find something else to tax? What about taxing bus companies a bit more for causing congestion and pollution, or minicabs for 'being shite'. What about introducing a 'naff bodykit' tax for Max Power boys, or raising duty on Magic Tree airfresheners (and other items motorists aren't going to buy). Or what about taxing breathing? that puts Carbon Dioxide into the atmosphere. No - road tax it is. W*nkers.
