Are there museums for "new" 80s bikes?

I've got a 1987 Kawasaki GPX750 that I've had from new and it's only done 3,000, yes 3,000 miles, and unsurprisingly is "as new". I guess it's only worth about £1500 and I don't want ito sell it to somebody "on a budget" who's going to trash it.

Are there any museums/collections around that would buy the bike or take it on loan?
