I see the Cheltenham branch is selling C6s. Anyone know if they are setup to service them; and C5s for that matter? Their website quotes 14mpg for the C6 - even if this usa it is still somewhat down on the C5 -err does 40% qualify for the word "somewhat"

that would surprise me, given that the C6 Z06 is listed as 16mpg urban and 26mpg highway (US gallons)

16 mpg Urban?? - that sounds like a very backward step compared to a C5.

No Pete, I am 99% sure that they won't have the software for C5s as I asked recently when my check engine light was on (I took the bulb out - that fixed it)

Youhaven't noticed the performance differential between the c6 Z06 and the C5 (or indeed C6) then?

Stupid man The Check Engine light is easy to put out, just open the bonnet...if the engine is still there you've "checked"....simple innit!


Back on topic....I've been past Stratstones in Cheltenham....blink and you'll miss it, as they have a showroom as part of the big Subaru dealers. They also have a Caddy sign outside so I assume you can get Caddy's there too. They had a silver C6 in the window when I went past.

Of course I have - I just didn't notice that we were talking Z06. Stupid, I know but these things happen ............
