Recent days have seen rather a lot of bitching going on on these pages. Whilst I understand that one or two people have made insults/offending remarks which have sparked things off, I find the subsequent collective linching of these individuals rather uncomfortable reading.

What happened to sin-binning? If someone makes innapropriate or spiteful comments, shouldn't they be sin-binned immediately and the offensive post removed? I'm finding the retaliation more uncomfortable than the original comments.

And who (Other than Ted and/or the Mods) have the right to ask others to leave the forum? I fear the nanny-state 'agree with us or else' attitude may be infiltrating these pages...

Rant over, as you were.

Towards Twincam16 quite often by my observation. The guy says some quite intelligent things sometimes and always seems to get a hounding for it.

He's a nice guy, I genuinely like the chap, but jeez the dude simply thinks too much, and too deeply for that matter.

*falls over*

That's a BAD thing?

Hey outlaw dont take it too hard,my spelling and grammar led a lot to be desired when i first posted on here, people pointed it out ,and yes it gripped me somewhat and i bitched a little, but hey!,just use it in your favour.

I now have an online dictionary i use when i can be bothered,in some ways their "pointing it out" has helped improved things for me.

We're still very busy behind the scenes trying to keep everything on an even keel. We just don't advertise who's in the sin bin these days.

There's always the Preview button to see what your reply looks like before submission. That way you can go back and edit anything that needs fixing.

I don't think it's a question of arseholes more that it's particularly difficult to express the emotion of what you are trying to say in words. That's why some stuff can make the writer look harsh, opinionated, abrupt or just rude. So pause before hitting that submit button and read what you have written.

Unless you want to get people's backs up - then fire away but you can't not expect retaliation if you do so.

No more public embarrassment then, it was always good to know who was in as it inevitably spawned the, "why is X in the sinbin", question

There's a lot in this, ive found looking back over old posts i find ime asking myself "did i really post that",i really meant to put it across differently but sometimes it didnt come out right.

Something simple like calling someone a name ie; "twat",now i would mean that to come out slightly under my breath with a little chuckle...a bit like when you are together face to face and having a discussion ,laugh etc.

But the reader might read this as "twat" and an angry reaction.

I guess the main thing to remember is,not to take it all too serious, now thats when ive used my handbags at 50 paces smiley ive even used that concerning myself a couple of times
