Plus Sign in URLs

Just tried to post this URL and it goes all doolally when displayed:

www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?pc=TN132TH&title=The+Rose+%26+Crown

Initially thought it was the ampersands, but they are OK:

www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?pc=TN132TH&title=The

Then the % escape code, but that's OK too:

www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?pc=TN132TH&title=TheRose%26Crown

Turns out that its the + characters used that are doing it, as in:

www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?pc=TN13+2TH

Its just the preview window that can't cope with "+" signs
