we cannot find the "hole" where it pours out, though it is fluorescent. Any ideas? Uli

I have had this problem with two other cars, but not my TVR's.

The answer has been to find an air conditioning specialist who has a 'sniffer' probe that can detect exactly where the leak is. Then you are half way to fixing it.

The dye shows up under uv light. The bad news is that it could also be leaking somewhere hidden,ie inside the wing like my first griff did.I'd call a local specialist rather than use a dealer,as the mobile specialists are much cheaper usually.Local mobi to me was very good.He re-gassed the system and added some dye, then came back a couple of days use later to see where it was leaking.

It does not pour out. The refrigerant is under high pressure and cannot be seen by the naked eye. But you should be able to hear it should it be a bad leak. Most problems are on flare joints.

I suspect 'pour' is just the best word he could find.
