Ok.......

kind of going off the idea of canada as worried it might be a bit cold even for first two weeks of may......and Hawaii is out because we cant get bar coded passports for the nipper and missus.

Anyone have any other intersting ideas for a coupel with a then to be 1 yr old nipper for 2 week holiday? Somwhere not too hot/not too cold etc etc?

Woudl prefer soemwhere outside of europe unless it is really really good.

Sorry to repost thuis under a different but the last one was title canadian...but now the idea is otherwise!

This is your last chance for easy long haul travel, so go where you like, stick an extra blanket in the pram and go to Canada.

Seriously, Norfolk coast, places like Mundesley. Dirt cheap, just sandy beaches, clean seas and shops selling ice-cream. All a 1 year old needs really.

as a young child, I used to fly all over the place with my parents, business class. it was great, I always got to go in the cockpit and talk to the pilots... the faces of the people in business class as we walked in and sat down were good too.

I was sort of between 3 and 6, my brother 1 and 3 and my youngest brother 0 - 2 years old.

Get him on a plane young and then he won't be scared of flying!

Well its got palm trees, lovely climate, great surfing beaches, fantastic walks, brill scenery, great pubs, great night life, The Eden Project, - in fact all you need for two tired parents to recharge their batteries with a 1 year old.

Aren't pasties an ethnic food ma'booty?

Thanks for all the comments.

That's another point...i have not much of a clue what she will be like at 1 yr old.
Every week it's a new surpirse so i am kind of assumign that she can sit on my lap for 8 hrs! Or is that a big mistake?

It's my first nipper so it's all new to me.

It has the potential to be stressful, but they seem to sleep a lot of the time. We did 11 hours with an eight month old.

My brother did the same trip with four year old twins and a six month old, but he's mostly mad

Sorry, I tried not to laugh.
You could try to keep her on your lap for 8 hours but I suspect that the other passengers might just
be handing you a parachute

thats because theyre all employed to tread water to keep mundesley afloat. you city types have no idea how much effort we go to to make youre stay enjoyable.
