Help wanted.

After 4 years of waiting I have finally bought myself a 111s and absolutely love it.
Sadly I came back to the car in a supermarket carpark last week and some tw*t has I think reversed it into. The damage is only minor, slight cracking about 2cm long but it has taken taken away a bit of the fibreglass as well as the paint.

Does anyone know the best place around leeds to get it fixed and sprayed?

Any advice appreciated.

JCT use Master Cars they had my elise in for a blister repair under warranty for 3 weeks. I got it back and it i could clearly see the repair JCT agred so I took it back. They had it another week then they broke the handbrake cable when moving from back of workshop when I went to collect. They would not extend use of loan car or repair mine so after a heated discussion I drove it home 30 miles and collected other car and returned it to JCT another 30 miles.

Master Cars quotes include "Its not our fault it would have broken the next time you used it" "JCT had the engine out before we got it so they must have done somthing (they did not have engine out)"

When I pointed out that if they had done the job right 1st time they would not have had had chance to snap the cable. "There was nothing wrong with the job it was only a paint fault" despite saying five min earlier "we had a right job we has to cut a section of clam out as it was porous"

Their parting comment "IT SERVES YOU RIGHT FOR BUYING A KIT CAR"

I wont be using them again.

F***ing @rseholes. Did they sort it out in the end? If not report to Trading Standards.

Just shows, the premium you pay to main dealers is a complete load of shit.

Thanks to all for your responses. I actually bought the card from JCT but I think it is safe to assume I wont be going to them for it repairing!

I have heard some good comments about motocraft in Pudsey. I will give them a call and let you know how it turns out.

Thanks for your help

Having been recommended by another PH'er, Moto Craft repaired my Tiv. They were very helpful, friendly and did a superb job of blending in the paintwork of a 4 year old pearl-finish car. You simply couldn't tell it had been repaired.

I gather they do all JCT's paintwork (the place was full of Ferraris when I was there) so I'd have thought they should be okay. I'd recommend them.

Sound more like "Master Baters" rather than anything else. Some of the people in this industry are so shocking just makes you suspicious of everyone unless you get a personal recomendation.

Ars**les indeed the cable was repaired by JCT under warranty. It is now out of warranty so I wont be going anywhere near JCT or Masterbates or in fact another lotus stealer again ever.

Contacted Motocraft today and spoke to a guy called Clive. Very helpful.
I will be taking my new pride and joy there and hopefully all will be as good as new!

Motorcraft did my fibreglass repairs, very good, front light fell out 5 miles after leaving JCT for repairs!! Motorcraft fixed it on the spot with an even better fixing for free!! Top blokes and easy to deal with.
