Not sure if I got done today, saw the back of the van at just over 300 yards and 10 over. obviousley slowed down straight away. The b******* started parking at the bottom of the hill instead of the top What are my odds?

Dunno the chances of picking you off in particular, also of what their tolerance is for 10 over, but I was zapped at nigh on 400m so would definately be in range. In fact about tht kind of range is often used as it is before you get sight of the scamera!

Cock. The road was empty 'cept for me up to 10 over is a speed course, or at least it would be if I hadn't allready done one early last year

I await the postman's knock with glee, NOT. Two lanes uphill with no junctions, no houses and a separated footpath, 30? what a crock. They're going to have to work for their pound of flesh, thats for damn sure.

The laser is good for about 1000m if used by Trafpol who then stop you. The optics on the scamera vans only have a range of about 400m. They like to set up such that the take a reading the moment you appear around a bend / crescent etc so defintetly a possible.

You may be delusional

Have as look at www.safespeed.org.uk/index1.html ...keep an open mind (if you can) for a challenge to your "beliefs".

Your only hope is that your speedo was over-reading by enough for your true speed to be under the prosecution threshold (tolerance stack) – without knowing the full details, I would give you 40-50% chance of escape. Otherwise, as others have rightly said, you’ve been properly scammed.

No, but a good way to shut them up is to make them think about what they post.
I set up my preferences to show the register date and number of posts for all members, hence the fact that they’re both ‘one day wonders’ isn’t lost on me.

Also I would assume that Scamersam intended the name to be Scammersam.....

Perhaps some spelling lessons would be a good idea

I got done by Police using a laser & camera on tripod. Talking to other Bib, they said it's good for 1000M, but when I asked about the camera being able to take a picture of the number plate they went very vague.
I didn't see it till I was a 200m away (guy was in dark clothing, against trees and with the evening sun behind him), and by then I'd been bowling along for a straight mile at 85MPH so I basically thought it was pointless to slam on at that point - should I have done?
