Black Plastic TVR Badged Wheel Disk for Chim.???

Hi there,

One of my TVR badged black wheel hub discs has decided to part company with my Chim

Before I look around trying to source one, and maybe this is a bit cheeky but anyone here have a spare they'd like to donate to me.??

I was always told that if you don't ask, you don't get - I'm hoping this empassioned plea will aire on the side of 'get'.

Which wheels, and what diameter is the badge? I made some once at 2 sizes (in the badge manufacturing business) and may have one floating about somewhere.

Cheers mate.

They are standard 16" rear '99 Chimaera wheels. Trying to measure diameter with a dodgy steel tape and it looks like 62mm (ish) dia.

Will it look the same as the other three.??

Sorry Nicky, you weren't very helpful when asked "which wheels"; hence the confusion. There are two "standard" wheels - 5 and 7 spoke - and the 7 spoke is the one which actually has a "plastic centre piece, not just the badge" - and I just happen to have two of these spare in the garage. Off a Chim. With 500 7 spoke Estoril wheels. Which I'd offered, briefly, before seeing the "62mm", so then I edited to say I can't help you.

Anyone else who's missing a centre piece for 7-spoke (500) wheels, I have a couple. They're not perfect mind, the badges are bubbling up around the edges, but the discs are fine.

These are available off the shelf at most TVR dealers, and the're not expensive. I got four new ones for mine from Hexham Horesless for about £4 each. It's just not worth hunting for 'used' ones. IMHO

I have Spider sized ones which are about 4mm smaller and a couple from a Griff with the OZ split rims which are bigger.
