Two quick questions...

Advice please! Looking for kit for a three week trek in Nepal I'm going on in March.

Firstly, anyone got advice on a battery charger? Want one that will run off mains and 12v and will charge battery from my 20D and Ixus. Think the Hahnel Powerstation Ultima best fits the bill but I've not seen one. Any other suggestions? Will be running it off a solar panel some of the time (hopefully!).

Secondly, I think I ought to take a back up device. I was going to use my iPod but having done a search on this site universal advice seems to be don't bother as battery life is a nightmare. I can't justify £200+ but have just seen the Jobo Giga One which at £99 looks like a bargain. The review on Warehouse Express is good. Anyone got any feedback? Battery life is a concern and I need a recharge option.
