We were having a discussion in our office and we wanted to know if the Pilsbury Dough Boy was the same as Pop 'n Fresh.

Anyone have any ideas?

Isn't Pilsbury the company and Pop N' Fresh the character??

So in essence they are indeed the same thing.

Yep but no more :

Pop-N-Fresh Obituary

I do not know if you heard yet, but CNN just released the following sad announcement that POP-N-FRESH passed away.
A veteran Pillsbury spokesman, POP-N-FRESH, died yesterday of a severe yeast infection, and complications from repeated pokes to the belly. He was 71. FRESH was buried in one of the largest funeral ceremonies in recent years.

Dozens of celebrities turned out, including Mrs. Butterworth, The California Raisins, Hungry Jack, Betty Crocker, and the Hostess Twinkies. The graveside was piled high with flours as longtime friend, Aunt Jemima, delivered the eulogy, describing FRESH as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded.

FRESH rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with many turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Still, even as a crusty old man, he was a roll model for millions.

FRESH is survived by his second wife, Play Dough. They have two children and one in the oven. The funeral was held at 3:25 for about 20 minutes.

I though Pilsbury was the company, the Pilsbury Dough Boy was the character, and the product was Pop N Fresh. But it seems I am wrong!

You gotta love this

Gozer the Traveller will come in one of the
pre-chosen forms. During the rectification
of the Vuldronaii the Traveller came as a
very large and moving Torb. Then of course
in the third reconciliation of the last of
the Meketrex supplicants they chose a new
form for him, that of a Sloar. Many Shubs
and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in
the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell
you.

Pop'n'Fresh is the character's name, Pilsbury Dough Boy is the Office he holds.

Much like Bibendum the Michelin Man.
