My 2004 Tamora has just started to develop a bit of white delamination at the base of the windscreen.

I had this with the Chimaera and was hoping that TVR had sorted this problem out.

Does anyone else have this?

Hi Richard,
Yes i have the same with my T350c, noticed it about a year ago.I had it on my Chim too.
There is a quick fix that i used on the Chim, and that was to apply 20mm black vinyl electrical insulating tape right across the bottom of the screen, that was on the chim for over a year, and it didn't look at all out of place, or a bodge job.
I'm going to do the same to the T350c in the summer.
Hope that helps, Dave

I know this may be stating the obvious, but if that happens to mine, I'll simply get the windscreen replaced with a new one for the £50 excess on my insurance, job done!

I did this with my Chimaera after it had some delaminating and gained a scratch across the wiper stroke somehow - not quite an MOT failure, but annoying. Insurance paid, and Autoglass did a good job.

However, you need to weigh up the possibility of damage to the interior trim. Yes, you might say make the repairers pay for it, but the inconvenience etc. of getting the dash retrimmed is not worth it IMO.
