Hi,

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I recently loaded a VPN Client onto my PC so i can work from home. Everything
is working okay except for one thing the firewall. I have Norton 2003 and since
made the change i have to switch the firewall off or i can't get the internet to
load and if i switch it back on after im on the net i can't get any pages to
load. Switch off and all works perfectly, any ideas ?

regards Jim

You might need to add the VPN software to the trusted software list.

Try going into Norton and then Firewall Status and Settings. On the right hand side you should see a button to Configure the firewall. Look for the Programs tab and in there you should be able Add a program. It'll give you a wee dialog box where you can navigate to the exe file for your VPN. Add that and select it to Permit access.

It might help, there may be other firewall settings you need though.
