Anyone recommend any as the ones that come with it fall out of my ears quite a lot and dont seal the sound in very well.
Thanks

Shure E2C. Sit inside your ear canal so block out all extraneous noise, and the sound quality is bloody brilliant. Can be a bit bass light if you are a basshead, but setting your iPod EQ with more bass in iTunes sorts this out. Nicely made, too.

Honestly, some tracks sound better through the iPod and the Shures than through my Musical Fidelity/PMC home hi-fi!

I use Sennheiser MX500's, about £15 a pair & give (imo) a pretty decent sound for the money

Yup, these are the best to get, but if you're on a budget like myself. Get a pair of Sony MDR-EX71SLW. (In white to match your iPod). They fit brilliantly and sound great too. Not as detailed as the Shure but 10x better than stock iPod phones.

These also fit right inside your ear canal to block outside noise but interestingly, use the acoustics of your ear canal to create the bass!!!

Anyhow, I use these and they never fall out when running unlike my crappy iPod phones.

Looking at those Shure Ec2 actually prompted this thread so I've now decided
Just to make certain- do they also keep the sound in?
I am quite conscious of not being one of those tts on the train who imposes his second hand music on everyone else.
Thanks

Try Etymotic 6i earphones. I've just bought a pair and they seem very good. They're also "in-ear" and do a fab job of reducing background sound.

Im sorry- its far too late. In a rush of 'buying excitement' I've just ordered the Shures.
Please don't mention any others you are making me feel uneasy.

I concur. Excellent phones, and you should be able to pick up a pair on Ebay for £50ish
