Don't know about you lot but I'm finding myself drawn towards yellow Chims all of a sudden ...

Always been a fan of the blue ones and had a dark green one myself before, but there's just something I've suddenly started to like about the yellow ones - but don't know what it is!

Maybe it's the slightly unexpected ... I don't know - a bit 'in yer face' without being pink.

I remember once my breath being taken away walking round a new yellow Cerbera in Bauer Millett's Manchester showoom nearly a decade ago ...

Can't explain it really.

I must admit i really like the yellow on any TVR.
i was going to look at a yellow Chim when i bought mine but obviously went with the red instead but think i may go for the yellow option on my next purchase.

Can't argue with you there... yellow is very striking and makes a statement... still though, not as nice (or as fast) as red

Hi Tovie,

Got one, love the colour, looked at blue and green one's but the yellow stands out more.I know it's abit in ya face but aren't TVR's anyway!!!

P.S although my mates call it 'THE BANNANA ON SKATES'

If you have the balls to buy a TVR you've got the balls to own a yellow one.

I think yellow TVR's look great.

That's why mine's GTS blue!!!!!

Yellow is the best colour if you are going to make a statement with a car like this then MAKE A STATEMENT you have got to have a colour as loud as the exhaust note why hide a wolf in lambs clothing you guys all know yellow is the fastest colour it's the only car the flys can settle on without needing to slow down

Yellow chims do look good...but this subject of which colour is fastest has been argued time and time again...with the conclusion that red is the fastest...as said before, TVR built a limited edition of fast chims and secretly painted them red.

Why thank you sir - that is the good lady wifes car.....that I get to use if I am a REALLY good boy

It is up for sale as she wants......a bright yellow Tamora or Tuscan so we are scouring the classifieds at the moment. She woull also like a bright orange one - even more "in yer face"

So if you know anyone selling a Tam or Tuscan in a "loud and proud" colour, giz a call. It will be worth MANY brownie points to me!

I tried a heap of colours. If you told me the week before I bought Roobarb that I was going to buy a yellow car I would have told you where to get off. In fact I only looked at it because I had dismissed the 4 cars I had on the agenda that day by 11 O'clock and had time to kill. As soon as I saw it in the flesh however, I knew. My interior is all dark blue, with an ally dash and yellow dials, almost comical its so in yer face, but it works really well. So how do you follow up after buying yellow ? A sports exhaust of course !!

I went out with the intention of buying yellow, mad i know, but its an unusual yellow, one that even at the yellow meet last year there wasnt a matching one...

Its also Decatted 100% with a sleeved sports exhaust

Its loud before you see it...

Agree with one of the originla posters, whats the point buying a loud car and dulling on the colour

Never seen a yellow tuscan apart from a model one, and I must admit its the only one that I can't imagine would look good in yellow.

Obviously green ones are better looking and faster...
