We're trying to get Life Assurance now that we have a mortgage, though I have just been refused due to a heart condition I have had since birth. The company in question took two months to decide that.

Does anyone know who would be a good bet to go for assurance? I dont fancy applying time and time again to be refused
I've had it before, just cannot recall who I used- was years ago.

TIA

Hi Di

Have you been to an independant broker to do all the legwork for you? This should help take the stress out of it at least...

Not thought of that, silly me Where do I find one? would they be classed as a financial advisor, and do they get their fee from the company or from me?

Thanks Tracy

Look up under insurance brokers on yell.com in your area and they should get their fees from the company not you.
