What Accessories Would You Like?

I know I would like some rubbing strips for the rear diffuser on the T350 cos I've keep grounding on some large speed bumbs near my home.

I'd also like a colour co-ordinated steering wheel. The standard black one is naff.

This has been knocking about for 2 years. If Simon does put it into production most of us will have lost interest by then.

You could have spec'ed this - for a price - when you ordered the car.

I tried to spec the steering wheel and Tuscan seats but they refused.

If fact, we are about to replace the hood and plastic rear screen on her MG with a mohair one with heated gless rear screen, I'd love one for my Tam.

The 'money talks' route is one possibility.

Another is to get an off-cut of the leather(s) and go to a local trimmer (for the steering wheel that is). Not sure that Tuscan seats fit all that well in a T350 (mind you, looking at the washers etc. underneath, neither do the normal ones!). Possible that narrower backs on Tuscan seats means they fit better. Dunno...

I agree that black steering wheels end up looking out of place after you've done your best 'designing' the rest of the interior. The wheel-trimming lady at TVR is a marvel and I'm sure if a colour-coded wheel was on the option list most people would take it. Seems like a "ha'p'eth of tar" job not to do it after you've laboured over stitching colour etc etc.

I was very persistent but they didn't want to know. I think they are missing a trick as there must be a sizable market for aftermarket accessories. Partnership anyone?

I agree re the steering wheel, when my car was made I bought a Momo wheel which the factory covered for me. The buttons are on the back for the readouts. When I posted a pic of it several people said it looked crap, but I really like it, and hey thats all that matters!

This is my missus with her brother, was gonna put her up on the fit birds on the bonnet of TVR's topic but had 2nd thoughts!
