Just seen a Bugatti Veyron, Black and Blue and a Red Enzo shooting down the A3 near Guildford. They seemed to be in convoy with a very blinged out Black, Range Rover Sport.
First time seeing a Veyron at all and first time seeing an Enzo on the move. The road Presence these things have is unbelievable, i heard them before seeing them.
ps - anyone know anything about getting permission to import a UK Ferrari to South Africa from the authorities over there? Is it pretty simple ?

Hi Stimo,
I'm down in SA regular with my business (5-6 months of the year). There's no issue with you importing the car down there but even if its for your own personal use you end up paying 57% import duties and VAT!! The other thing is if you want to sell the car you can't sell it for two years after the date of import. One of my business contacts was going to buy my Gallardo of me but after looking into it he decided against it.
Hope this helps you. PM me if you need anymore info.

At a guess, that would be one of my clients (brothers) in Brighton. They have a pair of RR Sports, blinged out as you say. They have recently bought an Enzo and when I spoke to them yesterday, they were buying a Veyron, but it wasnt coming until the end of the year. I could go on with their 'stable' of cars, but that'd just be boasting
Oh yeah, and a Zonda arriving June/July.

What do they do, share the cost and share the cars?

Cheers for the info mate. I have looked into it and all said and done the cost's of importing to SA would be 85% of the value of the car and yes, couldn't be sold for 2 years. Ouch
Are their not a couple of Enzo's in SA, now that would hurt the wallet !
Cheers
