Auto tip change

Hellooo....am i going mad or did my Boxster change up a gear automaticly in Tip mode once it hit the rev limiter ?

on my 996 TT TIP even with it select to manual change, it would still change up for me when it hit the red line.

Yup, they all do that. Makes overtaking a doddle If you don't want it to change up, feather the throttle about 500 RPM before the redline and it'll hold on to the gear you're in.
