damn corsa drivers!!!

i was scrap yard hunting earlier today when i was driving along at between 32-35mph in a 30 (or possibly 40, not too sure) limit, coming up to a tractor cutting the hedge on the opposite side of the road when a corsa pulls out to pass the tractor without looking and without considering any other users of the road.

i hit the brakes but theres mud everywhere so the front wheels lock so i yank up the handbrake as well and end up locking all four wheels to a stop.

meanwhile the corsa makes no effort to get out my way, they don't brake, speed up or swerve to avoid me. then the dosey fg woman driving it continues merrily on her way without even apologising, let alone stopping.

luckily i didn't hit anything but was very pissed off - i even saw the woman about 25-30 minutes later and she still didn't apologise, now its not as if you can miss a beige vauxhall cavalier heading towads you with all four wheels locked!!!

this is after middle lane twat boy in a sabb 9-5 estate gives me a blast of the horn and mainbeam last night on the M1 'cos i didn't let him cut into my lane to take the sliproad (which i was also taking) as it would have involved me doing almost an emergency stop in rush hour traffic on the M1...

sorry to rant, but i'm just very pissed off with the state of driving i've seen in the past two days...

I have noticed that this type of thing is becoming more and more common recently. People don't seem to stop if there is a parked car/blockage on their side of the road. I have has several near misses because people don't have the common sense or good manners to stop and wait for 5 seconds even though it's my right of way.

Must calm down now, think nice thoughts....
