Anyone come across anything that just altered your perception of bad design? I just came across this:

www.genealogydatabase.co.uk/

Awful. Bloody awful.

Ow ow! Hurt my eyes it does. Hmmm?

www.panthersolo.com used to be an eyesore, but the webmaster has obviously improved it as it is about 1000% better now.

Still looks like something from 1996 though.

Someone should tell the 'designer' he's left his caps lock on - oops.

odeon.co.uk is the worst designed website I've ever seen. Shame the excellent UCI one is being retired in favour of the unusable odeon one - back to ordering on the phone...

I personally think it's a brilliant site - it offers a "text only" version which give me all the information I need very quickly. Sod the whole flashy/crappy "design". In that way, it's one of the best websites - it doesn't force you to only one way of viewing.

Take UKBob's post in Computers for example, he has a website which will only work in IE - exceptionally bad design if you ask me.

Just had a look at it... yes, it's great. You can avoid all the complex unnecessary shite and get straight to the information. The web would be so much better if javascript had never been invented, and as for flash... <retch> <spit> <refusetohaveitinstalled> The whole modern business of valuing style over substance makes me sick, especially when the style is as pointless as it usually is.

Agreed, browser-specific design is rude.

YOU NEED A TOUGH STOMACH TO WATCH SOME OF THIS.
www.goregasm.com
Not my type of stuff personally, but I reckon it has got to be one of the worst websites about.
